It might not sound very romantic to have an engagement session at an old deserted jail, but if you think that then you've never been to the grounds around the old Guelph Penitentiary. It's surrounded with fields, walking trails, a river, a couple little lakes, and old stone bridges and walls. I dunno, it sounds kinda perfect to me.

I met Steph when we were both enrolled in the School of Fine Art and Music at The University of Guelph. I'm unbelievable flattered when a fellow artist chooses me to photograph them <3 Steph and Spencer really wanted to find a place that they could showcase what was left of the beautiful fall colours for their engagement portraits. It was a cool and crisp morning, but totally worth it. The reformatory grounds were quiet except for one other person walking their tiny dog, who then decided it would be more fun to hang out with us for a bit haha. The trees and the grounds were covered with leaves ranging from green to yellow to orange - it was beautiful.

I can't wait to photograph your wedding day!
